Her parents separated early in her life, and she was raised by her single mother, facing emotional and financial hardships she has spoken about openly. She has a younger sister, Eesha Aamir.
She enrolled at the Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST-NUCES) — and it was while studying there that her Dubsmash and social media videos caught a producer’s eye. She auditioned for her debut film and later left college to support her family financially through acting.
Career
Film Debut: Janaan (2016)
Hania’s showbiz story is one of the industry’s most modern: she was discovered through viral Dubsmash clips, not auditions. Her debut as the mischievous Pashtun girl in the comedy film Janaan (2016) was a commercial success and earned her a Lux Style Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Early Films and TV Start (2017–2019)
She followed with the comedy Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017) and the combat-war blockbuster Parwaaz Hai Junoon (2018), both among the year’s highest-grossing films. On television, she debuted with Phir Wohi Mohabbat (2017), winning the Hum Award for Best Television Sensation Female, and earned praise for the romantic drama Anaa (2019), also singing its title track.
Television Stardom (2020–2024)
Ishqiya (2020) made her a TV favorite, but Mere Humsafar (2022) as Hala opposite Farhan Saeed turned her into a phenomenon, earning a Lux Style Best TV Actress nomination. Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha (2022) as Mahnoor opposite Wahaj Ali and Zaviyar Nauman was another massive hit. Her career peak came with Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum (2024) as Sharjeena — winning her first Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress.
Meri Zindagi Hai Tu and Forbes 30 Under 30 (2025–2026)
In 2025, she starred in Meri Zindagi Hai Tu opposite Bilal Abbas Khan, another major success. In 2026, Forbes Asia featured her in its 30 Under 30 list, recognizing her as one of the region’s most influential young stars. Watch Meri Zindagi Hai Tu Episode 1 on YouTube.
