Uswah Episode 17 story

Episode 17 moves the story forward on three fronts: Mahabir’s disappearance, his reunion with his mother, and a new scheme brewing in Fariya’s household.

• The episode opens on a spiritual note, as a devout young man offers Fajr prayer at the mosque while his younger brother looks on.
• Uswah, a university student, rushes to campus to submit an assignment and meet her friend Sara at eleven.
• Mahabir’s mother turns up at Shaista’s house in tears: her son has vanished and his phone is switched off.
• The grieving mother shares her past — her husband died when the children were small, and she raised them alone without remarrying.
• Uswah sends Mahabir an urgent voice note, asking him to contact her about something important before it is too late.
• Essa and Fariya discuss his career; she warns him against joining his father’s office, where she says he will only face humiliation.
• Mahabir’s mother blames Uswah for taking her son away from her, but Uswah’s family firmly defends her.
• Mahabir finally meets Uswah and confesses he thought she had summoned him to the courthouse to marry him — yet he refuses to go home, believing his mother will never accept her.
• Uswah shows remarkable selflessness, telling Mahabir that if he left home for her, he must return for her sake too.
• An elderly father figure gives his son timeless advice: earn through lawful means and never displease God — the very meaning of “uswah”, an exemplary role model.
• Mahabir comes home to a tearful reunion as his mother showers him with love and begs him never to leave again.
• Zaid’s sister points out the double standard: Mahabir is treated like a hero, while she would have been scolded for the same behaviour.
• The sister-in-law tells Mahabir’s mother that he returned only because Uswah asked him to, sparking fresh accusations that Uswah is manipulating everyone.
• Mahabir stands up for Uswah, telling his mother he left because of her own behaviour — and came back because Uswah pleaded with him.
• Uswah’s sister Anaya confronts her for wasting a golden chance to marry Mahabir; Uswah replies that love sometimes means sacrifice.
• In a parallel track, Fariya’s mother advises her daughter to get property transferred into her name after marriage and then leave the house — unaware the maid Shazia has overheard everything.
• Tabassum fires Shazia, pays her off, and hands her a friend’s contact for a new job, warning her to stay silent.
• The episode ends on a cliffhanger: Tabassum storms into Uswah’s home demanding she be summoned, while Uswah cries on the phone to someone who says he is on his way.

Uswah cast

Omer Shahzad leads the drama as Mahabir, the emotional heart of Episode 17. His scenes with his mother and Uswah carry the episode’s most powerful moments.

Saniya Shamshad plays Uswah, the principled young woman at the centre of the story. Fans have praised how she puts others’ happiness before her own, even at the cost of her own future.

Haroon Shahid appears as Essa, the third lead. Viewers are already shipping Essa and Uswah, with many comments calling for their wedding and on-screen chemistry to begin.

The supporting cast, confirmed through the channel’s official hashtags, includes Ammara Malik, Junaid Akhtar, Rabia Noreen, Hira Soomro, Hareem Sohail, Akbar Islam, Huma Tahir, Syed Mohsin Gillani and Saima Qureshi. Key family characters include Anaya and Shaista on Uswah’s side, and Fariya, Zaid, Naheed, Tabassum and Farheen in the extended household. Uswah Episode 18 promo

The official Episode 18 promo is already live on the Har Pal Geo YouTube channel. The 56-second teaser has crossed 563K views and asks one burning question: can Naheed genuinely accept Uswah?

That single line suggests Episode 18 will revolve around acceptance — whether the elder woman of the house finally embraces Uswah or whether the conflict deepens after Tabassum’s explosive entry. Given the cliffhanger, viewers should expect high drama from the very first scene.

Uswah Episode 18 airs tonight, 10 October 2026, at 7:00 PM on Geo Entertainment. For another daily drama with the same story-plus-preview format, read our Mohabbat Episode 3 story and Episode 4 preview.
